Change Sucks… but is necessary sometimes to grow.

I just wanted you all to know that That Guy With The Glasses and I will be parting ways. I am eternally grateful for the multitude of opportunities they have given me and we have both wished each other well for our various futures.

Please continue to watch my videos here on youcanplaythis.com as well as other sites such as YouTube, ProjectMillion, and RetrowareTV.

So, what does this mean for me and you? Well, I will continue to make videos but they will now be all “You Can Play This”. As for the FamiKamen Rider, I will still be going headfirst into this particular project and still aiming for the late Spring for this to be out. It is a project of love and was always apart from other websites… so that has not changed.

My heart is with you all. Please continue to support TGWTG and I hope you all continue to watch my videos as well.

Why is everybody leaving TGWTG all of a sudden? Spoony, some video game guy I never watched, You. Lindsy and others opened ChezApocalypse. What is going on over there as a business?

    !!!!!!
    Well… huh.

We wish you the best of the best, Justin. <3

Shame to see you leave TGWTG, but if that is what you feel is necessary for further growth then I will continue my support.

Wow… really didn’t see that one coming. Striking out solo can be a big challenge but I know you’re up to it. Looking forward to what’s coming up next for you, especially when FamiKamen Rider is ready to go, I’d love to help support a home grown fan series like that.

I think I spent more time here watching you videos nowadays or on the other sites then I did on TGWTG. So not much of a change for me. So good luck with all your endeavors :) I think TGWTG is a good place to get your name/face out there but its more a stepping stone to vault from and spread your wings. I’ll continue to check out That Guy of course and this is on my favorites too :D

Also PushingUpRoses. But Lindsay and the other producers of ChezApocalypse haven’t left TGWTG. They made the site so they could have their own website to archive and promote their work. Phelous has his own website too, that doesn’t mean he’s not part of TGWTG.

Justin, I wish you the best and hope everything works out – I’m especially excited about Famikamen Rider. :)

Sorry to hear this JDub, good luck with all your future endevors.

Are you still going to be open to doing crossovers with any of the TGWTG producers?

I wish you luck on all your endeavors, but I hope you’ll still drop by for the remaining Pokemon movie reviews with Suede and Lewis

With the recent departure of a few contributors from TGWTG, I get a bad feeling that the site is in the “beginning of the end” stage. However, I fully support your decision and, as always, fully support you & all creative endeavors you wish to pursue in the future. In particular, You Can Cook This is my favorite new web series! I’m really looking forward to FKR, too. Keep being awesome, Justin :)

I’ve been eating better because of YCCT.

    | What is going on over there as a business?

I too wonder what’s going on?

  • PushingUpRoses

I chose to leave TGWTG for the reasons I made clear on my blog. It has nothing to do with business models or anybody else besides me. In my case, I needed a fresh start and a new beginning after getting sick. Sometimes people leave and start new things, and there really isn’t any mystery behind it. At any rate, I support Justin in his departure, and I continue to support his content and genuinely wish him well.

  • TOP2NE1

Still gonna do things with Suede and Linkara? That stuff’s hilarious!

Are you still going to go to MAGFest next year?!

  • Andrew C Eden-Balfour

Best of luck to you dude =) Your a very great guy.

  • Andrew C Eden-Balfour

I wouldn’t say so, after all TGWTG can always hire fresh new talent who know how to make videos and do whatever they want. And of course at some point these new contributors would likely start they’re own show, and depart from the site, in which the cycle begins again.
If any, I would say that TGWTG represents a business where unknown web personalities who want to make videos for the world and make a name for themselves can get their first steps on being a well known web personality… Well, at least that is my opinion anyway.

” Well, I will continue to make videos but they will now be all “You Can Play This”. ” Does this include the You Can Cook This series, as i greatly love the YCPT this, I’ve also become a bit fan of the YCCT series.

  • Oxi

  • Mike Maverick

Hey! I will support you along the way. You’re one of the people that inspire me to do game reviews again. I also want to say that I will still continue to support TGWTG. You’re pretty awesome, and I will also keep supporting FamiKamen Rider show.
